Registration

In order to register for the AILDI Summer 2024 Session, students will need to complete three steps.

Part 1: AILDI Pre-Registration Form
All AILDI participants are asked to complete our own internal registration form. By filling out this form we will be able to keep track of your application to the University of Arizona. This is important due to the variety of offices involved in the admissions process.

Part 2: University of Arizona Application
Undergraduate students may apply as non-degree seeking students through the University of Arizona’s Undergraduate Application Portal. No previous college experience is necessary to come to AILDI. (You will need to be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or G.E.D.) Make sure to select Summer as the term. For the program selection, make sure to choose American Indian Language Development Institute.

Graduate students will have to apply through the University of Arizona’s GradApp. Click here to access the Summer Only admissions portal. Find “Apply Now!” at the top right of the page. From there, you will be asked to create an account (or login with an existing NetID) and begin your application. Make sure to select University of Arizona – Main as the campus and Tucson as the location. This should be done even though AILDI courses will not physically be held in Tucson. For both the Program Category and the Program of Study, choose Non-Degree Seeking. For the semester, select Summer 2024. Lastly, for Sponsor/Program affiliation, select AILDI – American Indian Language Development Institute.

Graduate students must additionally send their official or unofficial transcripts to the Arizona Graduate College at transcripts@grad.arizona.edu, and their immunization records must be submitted to Campus Health here.
Application fees are $50 for undergraduate Arizona residents, and $80 for non-resident undergraduates. Graduate application fees are $45.

Part 3: CoLang Registration
If desired, AILDI participants will need to register directly with CoLang for their housing and meal plan. This can be done using CoLang's Registration Portal for AILDI Students. When prompted for a password, please use AILDI2024 (case sensitive). If participants have other means for lodging andmeals, they are welcome to ignore this step.

If you wish to receive housing and a food plan at CoLang, you must register with them before April 31st!
